THE SOUTH WEST COAST PATH
630 Miles of rugged trails |
The South West Coast path is the UK's longest National Trail following one of the most spectacular stretch of coastline in
the country, formerly home to Britain's tin miners, pirates and
smugglers. The lads will trek from Minehead to Poole covering 630
miles of rugged terrain - as a point of reference for that distance, the entire length of the United Kingdom is around 645 miles.
The lads will climb around 115,000 feet of ups and downs which is over
four times the height of Mt Everest. Armed with Nike+ Fuelbands the lads will
be able to keep track of the amount of steps taken per day which we calculate
will exceed 2 million.
The greatest challenge for the two fat lads however, will be avoiding eating all of the cornish pasties and clotted cream in Cornwall and Devon.
